Do you want to take a peek? ;-)

Ok, so I haven’t said anything on my website about this, but I think it’s time to make it official ( you know, like Facebook official for relationships ;-).
Drum roll…..

I started work at a local cake shop last month!
The cake shop’s name is Coccadotts and there work some of the awesome-st and most talented people I know! Not to mention that their cakes are the only commercial cakes I can actually eat and enjoy! I’m absolute sucker for chocolate and their chocolate cake is to die for.
Of course I’m still trying to learn a lot of things, making cakes at home is different than working at a bakery and every day there is something new that I need to know, but I am glad everybody is so friendly and helpful.
So, I have been busy bee and I wanted to share with you some of the projects I have been working on. Before I show you the pictures I want to say that these cakes are team effort! Most of the time I make details, sometimes if I’m lucky to decorate a whole cake, and sometimes if I’m extremely lucky I get to make the design. With that said, I’m extremely happy by the purple ruffle design with buttons I made ( this one was only me)

Please, excuse the quality of the pictures, they were taken with my phone. Unfortunately, I can’t take pictures of everything I make, there is so much work and so little time, but I still imagine the faces of the people who get the cakes and I’m happy!

If you want to check the other pictures, take a look at the album I made for my Coccadott cakes!

So, as you see, I haven’t been completely lazy and I haven’t neglected my blog without a reason, but now that my schedule gets kind of settled I hope to post regularly as before. It has been a big adjustment to my whole family with me getting back to work, not to mention my semester for my MLS is starting in August.

I hope you all have a wonderful summer, bake and eat a lot of cakes and if you want to have more time for fun, why don’t you stop by our cake shop and have us make your cake for you? 🙂

Ta-ta for now!
